Psychology

The psychological team at Radius provides therapeutic support for individuals and families with multiple systemic barriers to accessing mental health services.
Our team consists of two Registered Provisional Psychologists, contracted to Radius through Canniff and Associates, who have varied background, education and training.
We are able to provide supports to people coping with a variety of concerns, including both childhood and adult traumas, and the secondary issues that stem from trauma, including addictions, depression, and anxiety. We also help support people through medical diagnosis, chronic illness, and chronic pain. We believe that every person has a right to feel good about themselves and heal from what has happened to them, and we are honoured to be a part of that journey with our clients.

Psychiatry

Psychiatry strives to help people find relief from their emotional pains. Sometimes psychiatry takes a path of medication, to reduce the intensity of the pain and allow healing to begin. At other times, or whenever people are ready to look at all the parts of their pain, big and small, distortions and truths, in order to accept who they are and their survival, the talking part of psychiatry is more helpful. Together, we can explore such concerns as depression, anxiety, confusion, fears, addictions, and relationship struggles. More importantly, we can trace the path back to a life of satisfaction, strength, and love. In a world that often silences people, banishes their feelings, and denies their worthiness, psychiatry helps people recovers their Voice, finds their Feelings and returns them to a place of Belonging. Psychiatry at Radius is there to help you to stay safe and welcome you home to yourself.
