Dental Clinic
Radius believes that good oral health is an important part of good overall health. We provide dental care if you cannot access care due to:
- health concerns, such as mental illness, addictions
- social barriers, such as homelessness or literacy challenges
- financial hardship, such as those receiving Alberta Works or AISH)
- low annual income and no access to dental benefits
Access
Please note: Visits are by appointment. We also try to accommodate emergencies and/or walk-ins from Monday to Friday.
To qualify for a subsidy, you will need to show proof of your income. Usually, that is a Notice of Assessment from the last tax year. If you have a partner, married or common-law, they must also provide their Notice of Assessment – even if they are not receiving treatment.
Fees
Our fees can be discounted up to 75%, depending on your income. SHINE services are free.
Shine Dental
Access
Please note: the goal of SHINE dentistry is to operate every Saturday during the school year (September to June). However, the SHINE dentistry clinic depends entirely on the support of our volunteers and as such, we cannot guarantee the clinic will be open every Saturday.
